Back from the Living Dead

Well, some time between postings. As I look back on the past year I see where time, and those who steal it from us, has taken the ever costly toll. So once again I'll bring forth new thoughts while keeping in mind a plan of action to prevent future time theft. So I ask you, what/who steals your time? We creatives know that time is in high demand when it comes to our art. Our art, the 'demanding mistress' I've called it in the past, demands our time. Bunches of it, at all hours. So what keeps you from creating more time for your creating?

My Triple P Principle

My students at Fullerton College know I ramble on about my 'Rules of 3' and how to use them to their benefit. Let's start the blog with my Persistently Pursue your Passion principle. Nothing new here. Great creative minds throughout history have found this path to success to be true.  The key has always been to plan the short term and long term pursuit paths and always apply a great deal of passion. Let's start at the end here and work backwards. Passion. What do you feel passionate about in your life today? What are you willing to sacrifice time, energy, money, even people for as a creative? And are you moving towards that passion or waiting for it to come to you? If so, it never will. Thoughts?
